We often hear the words, “Take care of yourself,” especially when facing tough times. But what does that really mean? How do you actually do it? 🤔
One approach I’ve found helpful is to tap into your Child Ego State. 👶 This concept comes from Eric Berne’s Transactional Analysis (TA) in the 1950s. Berne believed our personalities are made up of three distinct ego states: Parent, Adult, and Child. 👨👩👧 Each one influences how we think, feel, and behave. By balancing these states, we can better navigate challenges and build healthier relationships. 💪
But why focus on the Child Ego State? 🤷♂️
Because it’s the source of our emotions, creativity, and spontaneity. 🎨✨ When you approach life from this perspective, you unlock a fresh, playful outlook. 🌈 You become more resilient, more inventive, and more willing to embrace the process rather than fixate on the outcome.
Think about children at play—their boundless energy ⚡, their joy in discovery. 🔍 That’s what makes this mindset so powerful. It helps you tackle challenges with enthusiasm and creativity. 🎉
By deliberately choosing your ego state, you can harness your strengths and adopt a mindset that promotes well-being and growth. 🌱 It’s worked for me.
